Happy New Year & Thank You to all of our supporters and lovers of wildlife! With the arrival of the new year, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks for all of the amazing help we get from our supporters, compassionate wildlife-loving citizens, our volunteers, and our staff. It takes everyone working together to make the world a better place for the wild neighbours that we share our world with. We thought you'd be interested to see what a year looks like! Our final patient count for the year is just over 6200 animals from over 260 different species. June 22nd was our busiest rescue day, when we admitted 81 patients in a single day. The following day, we reached our highest in-care patient count when we topped 891 animals being cared for at once. About 57% of our rescues were birds, 34% were mammals, and the rest were reptiles and amphibians. That's a lot of orphaned, sick, and injured wildlife that got help because of you all.
