Every year, we give hundreds of offsite presentations to community groups as part of our mission to connect people to wildlife in a positive way through knowledge and understanding.

Community Group PRESENTATIONS

Inviting Hope for Wildlife to a community group gathering is a great way to learn about wildlife. We can accommodate up to 50 participants for presentations, which are appropriate for ages five and up.

Presentations are given by members of Hope for Wildlife's education team and feature a variety of education animals for participants to meet; these animals are permanent residents at Hope for Wildlife for reasons that are explained during the presentation. Background information is also provided about the organization and the work we do. The presentation usually finishes with a Question and Answer session.

BOOKINGS

From October 1st to May 31st, offsite presentations are offered to community groups on Tuesdays and Thursdays

Please note that presentations are only provided within a one-hour drive from our facility in Seaforth; this policy is in place for the welfare of our education animals.

Bookings can be made by contacting Michelle at bookings@hopeforwildlife.net or  (902) 407-9453.

Additional Information

Group Size

A group of up to 50 participants can be accommodated; the smaller the group, the more interactive the experience will be.

Age Range

Presentations are appropriate for ages five and up.

Duration

Presentations are approximately one hour long.

Cost

There is no charge for presentations; however, Hope for Wildlife is a registered charitable organization that relies heavily on donations. A donation of $3 per person is suggested and greatly appreciated. Where groups prefer to donate items instead, Hope for Wildlife is always in need of eggs, gas cards, leafy greens (no iceberg lettuce please!), and frozen fruit.
