HOW TO SUPPORT US

Hope for Wildlife is a charitable wildlife rehabilitation and education organization located in Seaforth, Nova Scotia. Since 1997, we have rescued, rehabilitated, and released over 80,000 injured and orphaned wild animals representing over 250 species.

Every year we respond to more than 40,000 calls, texts, and emails, welcome thousands of visitors to our facilities for tours, give hundreds of offsite educational presentations to community and school groups, and collect a wide range of data from animals treated at our rehabilitation center.

We have many ways you can help us. All proceeds go directly to help Wildlife.

  • Our "Stepping Stones" campaign helps raise funds for updates to Hope for Wildlife's facilities.

In 2014, our "Stepping Stones" campaign was introduced to help with big projects like the much-needed construction of a new barn, which would house our offices, intern bunkhouse, small mammal nurseries, flight cage, food storage, prep kitchen, and more.

Completed in 2016, this building replaced the more-than-100-year old barn previously in use, which had no running water, no heat, leaky windows, and had been deemed unsalvageable.

While there is still work to be done, we are grateful to be working toward being better able to meet the needs of our patients, staff, and volunteers. We can’t say THANK YOU enough for the progress that has already been made.

You can still purchase your stepping stone:

    $1,000.00 (8x8-inch stone)

    $5,000.00 (12x8-inch stone)

    $25,000.00 (16x8-inch stone)
