Waiver of Liability *

Waiver of Liability I acknowledge and accept the risks associated with volunteering with Hope for Wildlife. These risks include, but are not limited to: ● Injuries from wildlife, such as bites, scratches, or other physical harm. ● The potential contraction of zoonotic diseases (diseases that can be transmitted from animals to humans). ● Injuries related to the handling, capture, containment, and transport of wildlife. I understand and accept that my involvement with Hope for Wildlife entails these risks. I confirm that I do not have any pre-existing conditions that would increase my likelihood of injury. I agree to adhere to all safety protocols and procedures as communicated to me by Hope for Wildlife. By signing this agreement, I agree to release Hope for Wildlife from any liability for injuries or damages incurred during my activities with the organization, including any financial responsibility. I further agree to forfeit any right to bring legal action against Hope for Wildlife for any such injuries or damages.

Privacy Policy *

Privacy Policy At Hope for Wildlife, we prioritize confidentiality and privacy. Any personal information collected about volunteers (such as contact details) is kept private. Your contact information will only be shared with other volunteers if you give permission, typically to coordinate assistance with animal pickups (e.g., if someone in your area needs help or if the animal needs to be transported partway). This may include your name, phone number, and address. Sharing this information is optional but can help streamline our dispatch process. You have the right to access, update, or request deletion of your personal information at any time, subject to applicable legal requirements.

Confidentiality Agreement *

Confidentiality Agreement All activities at Hope for Wildlife, including information about our patients must remain confidential. While we recognize that there are numerous posts about HFW online, it's important to establish clear guidelines to protect our public image and avoid misinterpretations. As a charitable organization that relies on public support and operates under government regulations, maintaining a positive and accurate public image is essential for our continued success. I agree that I will not disclose any confidential information to members of the public or any external parties unless explicitly authorized by Hope for Wildlife management. This includes all non-public information related to the operations and activities of Hope for Wildlife: ● Non-disclosure: I will not share confidential information, including photographs, videos, or other media, on social media or other platforms without prior approval from Hope for Wildlife management. ● Confidential Materials: All documents, files, phone calls, investigations, conversations, and any other materials I encounter during my time with Hope for Wildlife are confidential and are the property of the organization. I agree to treat all such information as private and secure. ● Representation of Interests: I will represent the interests of the animals and individuals served by Hope for Wildlife, without favoritism toward any internal or external special interests. ● Mission-Focused: My work will align with the mission of Hope for Wildlife, and I will not pursue personal agendas while involved with the organization. ● Conflict of Interest: I will disclose any potential conflicts of interest and will withdraw from any activities or decisions where such a conflict may arise. ● Media and Public Statements: I will not make comments to the media or share content related to Hope for Wildlife without direct approval from authorized staff. ● Confidentiality of Partners: I will keep in strict confidence all information related to clients, animals, policies, procedures, and any work materials I may encounter. This obligation extends to any collaboration with external partners and stakeholders of Hope for Wildlife. ● Consequences of Breach: I understand that any violation of this agreement may result in termination of my involvement with Hope for Wildlife and may also result in legal action if necessary.
